What can you say, he’s well liked by his teammates and
hated by the opposition. He may have taken some bad penalties
but blocked a hell of a lot more shots. He was this years
top defenseman in our league and tonight is our------
DRAIN BROS “MOST DEDICATED PLAYER”—
Craig Buttar
This player truly was dedicated and we had a few this past
season.. He played the 2nd most games on the team and rarely
if ever missed practice . He traveled regularly to get here
and competed hard game in game out. Even after getting pummeled
in Frankford. This years-------
JJ STEWART MOTORS “MVP” –
Kevin Rainey
Some nights we had it and some we didn’t , we were young
and needed stability and that’s what we got. He traveled
over an hour for every game and practice and continually took
shots in the head to prove it. He gave us a chance to win
every time he stepped in the net and was a true team player
for whom the guys like to play for . Our 2006-2007----
ARCHER TRUCKING “UNSUNG HERO AWARD”-
Steve Thomas
He’s been with us since day one of our first season
and has truly improved every season. He continues to amaze
us from his school bus antics to his near naked jet skiing
to the great practice attire he adorns. A truly committed
Viper who just loves to play, compete and be with the guys.

VINCENT PRESS “VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR”
– Jim Burchell + Bill
Ainsworth
No team can run without one .. and we are fortunate to have
2 great ones. It’s a thankless job and always comes
with baggage(real baggage- tape-equipment –supplies
etc) These gentleman are as committed , devoted and loyal
as you will find anywhere. Our 2006-2007---------(INSERT OUR

MOLSON “MOST SPORTSMANLIKE PLAYER”—
Matt Mezenberg
He played the most games of any player this past season and
was 4th on the team in scoring. He’s quiet but works
hard and does whats asked of him.. A great team player who
rarely if ever got upset at a teammate or sometimes even the
opposition. Our best find out of SSFC and our ---------------
KELSEY’S “TOP GOAL SCORER”
– Nick Lees
He led the team during the regular season with 27 goals and
also let us in playoff goals with 3 .. This guy just loves
to play offence and as a matter of fact is pretty good at
it. A welcome addition back to the Vipers this season our
